On Sunday, January 24 the New Hartford, Norfolk and Winsted Fire Department's performed training for the Regional RIT Team. Team members performed a review of equipment, rescue techniques and updates.

Team members then performed several scenarios within the burn building at the Burrville Fire Training School. Members utilized ropes, pulleys and other tools and devices to quickly and efficiently remove impaired firefighters from the building.

No one left without learning something new and sharpening their skills during the training, which was quickly deemed a success by all of those who attended.
